Our silk scarves
Material – 100% mulberry silk All our silk scarves are made from 100% mulberry silk, which is considered the highest quality of silk. Mulberry silk is produced by silkworms that feed exclusively on the leaves of the mulberry tree, resulting in a particularly uniform, soft, and strong fiber material. The result is a silk with a beautiful natural sheen, a luxurious soft texture, and a durability that allows the scarf to be enjoyed for many years.
OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified Our silk scarves are certified according to OEKO-TEX Standard 100. It is one of the world's most recognized labels for textiles and means that every single element of the scarf, from fibers to threads and prints, has been tested for harmful substances and found safe for the skin. In other words, you can wear the scarf with a clear conscience, even directly against your skin.
Two weaves, three sizes.
Silk satin – 53×53 cm Our smaller scarves are woven in silk satin, which is a denser and more lustrous weave. The tight weave provides a particularly soft and smooth look, making satin ideal for small scarves worn closely around the neck.
Silk twill – 70×70 cm and 90×90 cm Our larger scarves are woven in silk twill, which has a slightly more matte appearance and a slightly "textured" surface. This means the scarf does not feel too slippery when worn, and at the same time, the twill provides a beautiful, soft drape that suits the larger formats particularly well.
About Flora Danica Denmark Flora Danica Denmark is a Danish brand with roots in the classic botanical tradition and a great love for the details of nature. We draw inspiration from Flora Danica, which is one of Denmark's greatest contributions to the Age of Enlightenment and the name of the vast botanical encyclopedia that has portrayed Danish flora for over 200 years, and we translate this aesthetic universe into modern, timeless silk scarves. Each scarf is designed by us with a focus on quality, craftsmanship, and sensuality, and with a clear reference to Flora Danica, ensuring it becomes not just an accessory, but a small piece of art that you can carry with you.
